Adaptation of the perceived parent and teacher academic participation scale into Turkish

This study was carried out in order to adapt the Perceived Parent and Teacher Academic Participation Scale developed by Régner, Loose, and Dumas (2009) into Turkish. The validity and reliability study of the scale was conducted separately for both groups with the data obtained from primary-secondary school (n = 302) and high school students (n = 393). Validity and reliability analyzes showed that the Turkish form of the scale could be used with four factors in both groups. Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficients of the scale are between .83 and .87 in primary school students; for high school students, it changes between .79 and .83. The results obtained are based on the Turkish form of the Perceived Parent and Teacher Academic Participation Scale, perceived parents 'academic follow-up, perceived parents' academic support,
