This study aimed to analyze social strata in terms of educational inequality in Turkey. The research was planned based on the 2006 Household Budget Survey data applied by TURKSTAT. Household Budget Surveys are one of the most important sources that provide information about the socio-economic structures, living levels, consumption patterns of households, determine the needs of the society, know how the available income is distributed among households or individuals, and test the validity of the applied socio-economic policies. . Therefore, in this study, the data of the household budget survey formed the basic data source in the formation of social strata. In the study, The relationship between the education level of the adult population with the gender and the income earned and the schooling rates of the children in the education age with the gender and the average income per capita in the household is examined in terms of social strata. In line with this goal, the 2006 Household Budget Survey data, which was applied by TURKSTAT, were processed and analyzed. According to the characteristics of the data and the established hypotheses in the study; Chisquare, correlation and variance analysis were done.
