The aim of this research is to determine the attitudes of students studying in the field of Social Sciences towards Scientific Research Methods Course; to develop a valid and reliable attitude scale. Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis was used for the construct validity of the measuring tool. According to the Explanatory Factor Analysis results, the scale consists of a total of 20 items and four sub-dimensions. The factor load values ??of the sub-dimensions and the total variance explanation ratio, respectively, the first factor, 7,848 eigenvalue and variance explanation ratio is 39,240%, the second factor eigenvalue is 2,123 and the total variance explanation ratio is 10,614, the third factor eigenvalue is 1,350 and the total variance explanation ratio is 6,752%, The fourth factor eigenvalue is 1,111 and the total variance explanation ratio is 5.555%. 62% of the variance of the psychological latent structure, which is considered to be measured in four sub-dimensions It explains 161 of them. On the other hand, Confirmatory Factor Analysis was used to test the structure resulting from the exploratory factor analysis. As a result of the Confirmatory Factor Analysis, 199,68 / 166 = 1.202; RMSEA = .037; CFI = .99; GFI = .92; AGFI = .86; NFI = .96; NNFI = .99; Findings of RMR = .18 and SRMR = .049 were reached. It was concluded that the obtained findings have a single structure of four sub-dimensions. Based on the findings, it can be said that the scale is capable of measuring the attitude towards Scientific Research Methods.
