Developing educational thinking and practices (EDU) scale: a validity and reliability study

In order for the teacher to carry out his responsibilities and practices in educational life on a consistent basis, his thoughts and beliefs about educational processes must also be consistent. The first step to this is to get to know and perhaps express his educational philosophy first himself. The aim of this study is to enable teacher candidates to name their thoughts and practices towards educational processes in a philosophical sense. The study was carried out with the participation of 504 teacher candidates studying at Pamukkale University Faculty of Education. Explanatory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability studies and correlation analysis studies were performed on the items in the scale. In the analysis results,
