Examination of the Social Sciences Education Program in the Context of Sustainable Development Training

In this study, revealing the importance of social sciences education for sustainable development training by examining the basic elements that form social sciences education and achievements specified individually for each grade of the program, in a way that reveals their contribution to sustainable development training. The study has a qualitative pattern and was performed in accordance with document and content analysis. As a result of the study, it has been determined that sustainable development, cultural sustainability, sustainable economics (sustainable development), sustainable use of natural sources, sustainable peace, sustainability of residence areas and sustainable land use come into prominence in sustainable development training. Despite being an attentive study that will contribute to sustainable development training, there are some limitations and in relation to these, some suggestions have been put forth.
