The Effect of Force and Motion Subjects with Group Research and Learning Together Techniques on Students' Academic Achievement

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of group research and learning together techniques on students' academic achievement in teaching the force and motion unit subjects of the general physics course to students. The sample of the study consists of 96 first-year Science and Technology teacher candidates studying in the fall semester of the 2010-2011 academic year. In the research, Academic Achievement Test (ABT), Graphic Test (GT) and Module Tests (Module A, B, C, D and E) were used. The study was carried out in three different groups. Of these groups; The first was determined as the control group (KG), where the group research method was applied (GAG), the second was the learning method together (BÖG), and the third was the teacher-centered method. Descriptive statistics and ANOVA were used for data analysis.
