The relationship between educational administrators' servant leadership competencies and their ability to manage diversity

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between servant leadership competencies and differences management skills of administrators working in educational institutions according to the views of teachers and administrators. The research is patterned in scanning model. In the study, the data were collected using the Servant Leadership Scale (HLÖ) and the Diversity Management Scale (FSI). The sample of the study consists of 262 people, 90 administrators and 172 teachers. In the study, it was determined that managers' servant leadership competencies and differences management skills were at a moderate level. As a result of the research, it was found that according to the perceptions of the participants, the servant leadership competencies of education administrators differ significantly according to the task type and age variables; Differences management skills are based on gender, task type, age It has been determined that there is a significant difference according to the variables of professional service years and the number of employees in the institution. Finally, it has been determined that there is a positive relationship between managers' servant leadership competencies and their ability to manage differences, which is above the middle and close to a high level.
